I’m Michelle, a bridal makeup artist based in the South West, and for me, wedding makeup has always been much more than just makeup. It’s about getting to know you, understanding what makes you feel beautiful and creating a look that feels completely right for you, whether that means soft and luminous, effortlessly polished or a little more defined. I know wedding mornings can be exciting, emotional and, sometimes, a little overwhelming. So when you sit in my chair, I want you to feel like you can breathe. I’m naturally calm, patient and reassuring, and I’ll take the time to listen, guide you and make sure you feel completely comfortable every step of the way.
I’ve been working professionally in makeup since 2012, with experience across beauty, editorial and bridal makeup, and training with leading beauty brands including Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury. But the part of my work I value most is the connection I build with the women sitting in my chair. I love creating that little space in the middle of a busy wedding morning where you can relax, feel looked after and enjoy being pampered. And when you leave my chair, I want you to feel exactly that: beautiful, confident and completely yourself.

Michelle is a super talented make up artist! She did my bridal make up and did such a wonderful job. I wanted to still look like me, but on a really good day and she really understand what I meant. She got the balance just right and I was so happy with the result! Michelle was the perfect makeup artist for my wedding day! She was conscious of my sensitive skin and preference for a ‘no-makeup’ look, and provided the most perfect look for me and my bridal party. She managed different skin types and ages perfectly, giving everyone a makeup look that they felt confident and beautiful in. I truly cannot recommend Michelle enough—she was an absolute dream from start to finish. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the kindest and most professional people I’ve ever met. I wasn’t able to do a trial beforehand as I live quite far from my venue, but she went out of her way to accommodate me, arriving early and being so thoughtful and reassuring throughout the morning. She checked in with me constantly to make sure I was happy every step of the way, and I felt completely at ease in her hands. My makeup was flawless—it lasted perfectly all day and night, through tears, hugs, and dancing, and my skin had never looked so good. But what really stood out was how she went above and beyond the role of makeup artist. When I accidentally smudged my white dress with some black residue, she was right there helping me fix it without hesitation. Michelle also created the most stunning look for my mum—who’s never had her makeup done like that before—and it honestly took my breath away. My mum looked so beautiful and felt so confident, and I know that meant the world to both of us. Even when mum was running late for her appointment, Michelle handled it with such grace, calmly switching things around to keep everything flowing smoothly. She was so accommodating, warm, and genuinely lovely to be around. Without a doubt, this was the best makeup experience I’ve ever had, and I feel so lucky she was part of our day. If it feels like the right fit, a £100 deposit secures your date in my diary. From there, we can start planning your bridal look together.
We’ll take our time at your trial to perfect your look and make sure you feel completely happy. Then, on the wedding morning, I’ll come to you and take care of the rest.
My 2028 diary isn’t open for bookings just yet, but you can join my waiting list below. I’ll be in touch when dates are released so you have the opportunity to enquire before my diary fills.
I currently open my diary one year in advance, so currently ONLY taking bookings for 2027 weddings. If your wedding is later than this, you’re very welcome to get in touch so I can make a note of your date.
I’ll check your date and availability, then send you a personalised quote. From there, we can chat, make sure we’re the right fit, and if it feels right for both of us, a £100 deposit secures your date, and we can start planning your bridal look together.
I highly recommend one. It gives us time to get to know each other, talk through your ideas and perfect your makeup before the wedding morning. It’s also a chance to make sure everything feels completely right for you
Trials take place at my home in Exeter on Mondays and Fridays, between 10am and 3pm.
Absolutely. We can talk through any skin concerns, sensitivities or allergies during your trial, and patch-test products where needed so you feel comfortable and confident on your wedding day.
Yes. I travel to weddings across the South West and beyond. Your bridal package includes up to 1 hour of round-trip travel; additional travel is quoted based on your location.
Absolutely. While I’m not yet taking 2028 bookings, I’m already receiving enquiries for 2028 and can add you to my 2028 waiting list. When my diary opens, I’ll contact those on the list first so you can secure your date.
